How do I register for an NDT training course?

ou can register by completing our online registration form. Once we receive your application, we will contact you with details about course availability, pricing and next steps.

In which languages are the NDT courses available?

Our courses are primarily taught in Dutch, but we also provide training in English. Please contact us to explore your options.

Are the training sessions held in small or large groups?

At KTN Belgium you may expect engaging sessions in small groups with a lot of personal feedback and interactive learning experiences that lead to real impact and big results.

How can I be sure of the training quality?

Our trainers are high-level experts in both NDT and professional training. KTN Belgium is an officially recognized certified ISO 9712 training and examination center, accredited by Hobéon SKO.

After passing the training, your exam and meeting the additional requirements, you may qualify for an internationally recognized ISO 9712 certificate, which is a strong boost for your career in NDT.

Can I use KMO Portefeuille?

Yes! When you are based in Flanders, you can enjoy financial support on both initial and refresher NDT courses with the KMO Portefeuille subsidy. This will make your expert training more accessible and affordable.

What if I don't pass my NDT certification exam?

If you don’t pass, no worries. You can apply for a re-examination (whether theory, practical or both). A minimum waiting period of 1 month applies and the re-exam must be completed within 2 years of the original exam date. We will help you to schedule a new exam date.

How do I extend or renew my NDT certification?

Certification extensions are required every 5 years, while full recertification is needed every 10 years.

Extensions: you must submit a dossier proving sufficient work experience with the relevant technique and proof of client. You will also have to complete a short practical exam including work instruction. If you haven’t gained enough experience over the 5 years? No stress. You can still apply for renewal. In that case, you will have to do a full practical exam instead of a short exam.

Recertification: you will need to complete a practical exam and also submit a dossier with your work experience. If you haven’t gained enough experience, you can still apply for recertification. In addition to the practical exam you will need to do a theoretical exam as well.
